How to tell the rarity of Weiß Schwarz cards? ›

The Rarity of a card can be seen on the bottom left of a card, next to the card number. These are the standard rarities. We will use the Quintessential Quintuplets set as example: SP = Special, usually signed by the voice actor of the character.

Victory conditions

The player that forces their opponent to Level 4 wins the game immediately. The opposing player has no cards left in their deck and Waiting Room.

An easy way to tell a card's rarity is by looking at the expansion symbol on any card printed from Exodus (June 1998) or later. If the symbol is black, the card is common. If it is silver, it is uncommon. If it is gold, it is rare.

The title of 'world's rarest trading card' is split between two quite distinct cards: the 1996 World Champion and the Shichif*ckujin Dragon. Only one specimen of each card exists anywhere in the world.

You can check which side a card exists in by looking at the bottom edge of the card. If it is white with white wings on the sides, that card is on Weiss side. If it is black with black wings on the sides, that card is on Schwarz side.

Rare cards have a black star. Rare Holo cards have a black star and a “shiny” (foil) illustration. In many English sets, for every rare holo card there is another card at a lower rarity that is identical in terms of gameplay, but has a different collector card number.

Rarity refers to the distribution of cards in Magic boosters. Magic has common (C), uncommon (U), rare (R) and mythic rare (M or MR) cards. Basic lands technically have their own rarity (L), but are often marked as common.

SSP = Super Special. SEC = Secret Rare OFR = Over Frame Rare. There are also some set specific rarities, such as JJR for Jojo. These generally come with some golden stamp. We will use the term Foil as a collection for all rarities with special foiling (Generally SR, RRR, SP, but also SSP, SEC, JJR etc.)

There are over 10,000 different Weiß Schwarz cards available and these are split into three types of cards — characters, events and climaxes.

Each booster pack contains 10 game cards: 4 commons, 3 uncommons, and 3 foils (at least one of which will be rare or higher). Each booster pack also contains 1 Energy card and 1 code card that can be redeemed in Pokémon TCG Live.

Since 1851, compiled statistics support this view; White consistently wins slightly more often than Black, usually achieving a winning percentage between 52 and 56 percent.

ENCORE (the effect) is when, at any point in the game, a character goes from the stage to the waiting room, you are given play timing. Once the character hits the waiting room, you, the player, have the choice to ENCORE that character, back to the stage, where it was, in REST condition.

End-of-year and supply centers

Players who have lost all of their Home centers may not build new units, while players controlling no supply centers are eliminated from the game. If a player controls 18 or more (being more than half) of the 34 supply centers at the end of a year, they are the winner.
